NHM Assam CHO Recruitment 2022 Notification Details
NHM Assam Officer Recruitment 2023: National Health Mission, Assam is inviting candidates from all over Assam for the recruitment of 620 Community Health Officer(CHO) Vacancies under NHM. The applicant must be a Graduate in B.Sc. (Nursing) OR Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing). Candidates that are eligible and interested can apply online here.

Educational Qualification:
The candidate must have passed B.Sc. (Nursing) or Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) with Integrated Certificate Course in Community Health to be eligible to apply for the post.
B.Sc.(Nursing) / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing passed from a nursing institution/University recognized by Indian Nursing Council / and Assam Nurses Midwivesâ & Health Visitorsâ Council.
Candidates must be Registered Nurse Registered Midwives (RNRM) from Assam Nurses Midwivesâ & Health Visitorsâ Council.
Candidates shall submit a Certificate from the Principal of their respective Nursing College (where from candidate has passed) for confirmation of the Integrated Certificate Course in Community Health as per the given format.
Other Criteria: should have proficiency in regional/ local language and dialect.

Salary:
Remuneration: On successful completion of the course, the CHOs, if absorbed under NHM will receive Rs. 25,000/- per month and performance-based incentives up to Rs. 15,000/- per month.

The candidate’s age should be less than 35 Years.

Job Profile of CHO in NHM, Assam:
The CHO cadre is part of an initiative under the Ayushman Bharat to strengthen Subcentre as Health and Wellness Centres (H&WCs) for extending primary healthcare services to all sub-center areas by strengthening the implementation of public health programs, including disease prevention and health promotion.
Candidates thus selected shall be posted at Subcentre Health & Wellness Centre as CHOs to lead a primary health care team consisting of front-line workers such as Female Health Workers (ANMs), Male Health workers (MPWs), and ASHAs working under the sub-center

Selection Process:
- The eligible candidates will be selected based on the aggregate percentage secured by the candidate in the last qualifying degree/ diploma.
- The selected candidate has to sign a surety bond immediately after the Placement in the Programme Study Centre.
