Name of the Post: Junior Assistant (Grade III)
No of posts: 13 (Thirteen)
Scale of Pay: Pay Band-2 Rs. 14,000 – 70,000, Grade Pay – Rs. 5,600.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Bachelors Degree from any stream (Arts/Science/Commerce) from any recognized university.
Computer Skills: Candidates must have a minimum 6 (Six) months Diploma in Computer Application.
2. Multi Tasking Staff (Grade IV)
No of posts: 13 (Thirteen)
Scale of Pay: Pay Band-1 Rs. 12,000 – 52,000, Grade Pay- Rs. 3,900.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class VIII from any recognized institute.
Other Criteria of DC Sonitpur Recruitment
Age Limit: The candidate’s age must be a minimum of 18 Years and not more than 40 years as on 01st January 2024.
Age Relaxation: Permissible relaxations in the upper age limit for different categories are as under:

Selection Process of DC Sonitpur Recruitment 2024
Selection Criteria for Grade III Posts
A) Part – I – Written Test (150 marks) as follows:
1) General English- 50 Marks
2) General Knowledge – 50 Marks (Comprising History, Geography and Culture of Assam)
3) Arithmetic – 50 Marks.
The qualifying marks shall be 50% for the un-reserved category and 40% for the reserved category.
B) Part-II – Computer test- 50 marks.
#Four times the number of vacancies of each category will be called for the test based on the mark obtained in Part-I.
#The Candidates must have secured at least 20 marks in the practical test. Candidates securing less than 20 marks shall not be considered for the final selection list.
#Preference will be given to experienced residents.
