It is to be noted that Border Security Force (BSF), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has issued a notification for recruitment to the post of Constable (GD) on a temporary basis in employment newspaper from 07 August to 13 August 2021. BSF GD Constable Salary:
Level-3. Rs.21,700-69,100/- and other allowances payable to the Central Government employee from time to time under the rules.
Eligibility Criteria for BSF GD Constable Posts:
Educational Qualification:
Matriculation or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.
BSF GD Constable Age Limit:
Candidates can apply from 18 years to 23 years.
Physical Standards:
1.Height : Male = 170 cm and Female = 157 cm
2. Chest (Only for Male): 80 cms (Unexpected). Minimum Expansion – 05 cms
3. Weight: Proportionate to height and age for male and female candidates as per medical standards.
Sports Qualification-
1. Individual Participation (International/National) – Sportspersons who have participated or won medals in any international sporting event recognized by the International Olympic Association as a member of the Indian team for the last 02 years. The selection will be done on the basis of the following:
1. Scrutiny of testimonials/documents
2. Measurement of Physical Standard (PST)
3. Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
