APRO Recruitment 2022 notification 

State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam has invited interested and eligible candidates applying for the recruitment of 540 Constable and Assam Commando Battalions Vacancy in Assam Police Radio Organisation (APRO). Here the candidates may apply online. For more information candidates may visit their official website https://police.assam.gov.in/. Before applying for this job candidates are requested to go through the latest APRO Recruitment 2022 fully.

The government of Assam has sanctioned 70 posts of Constables (WO/WT/CY) for newly created Assam Commando Battalions. These newly sanctioned 70 posts will be clubbed along with 441 post of Constable (WO/WT/OPR) already advertised as the essential qualification and other criteria of both the post are the same.

However, the candidate who applied earlier for the posts of Constable (WO/WT/OPR) against the advertisement dated 15th February 2022 need not apply again and their candidature will be considered for the newly sanctioned 70 posts of Constables (WO/WT/CY) for Assam Commando Battalions also.

1. Constable (WO/WT/OPR)

No of posts: 441 posts + 70 posts

Educational Qualification: 10+2 (Science) passed with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized Board or Council. The candidates must have obtained pass marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) of 10+2 (Science) examination to apply for the post.

Pay Scale: Rs.14,000-60,500/- (Pay Band II), with Grade pay of Rs.6,200/- and other admissible allowances.

2. Constable (UB)

No of posts: 02 posts

• Unreserved: 01 post
• OBC/MOBC: 01 post

Educational Qualification: HSSLC or Class 12th Passed from a recognized Board or Council.

Pay Scale: Rs.14,000-60,500/- (Pay Band II), with Grade pay of Rs.5,600/- and other admissible allowances.

3. Constable (Messenger)

No of posts: 14 posts

• Unreserved: 06 posts
• OBC/MOBC: 06 posts

• ST (P): 01 post

Educational Qualification: HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and must possess a valid driving license for LMV, MMV & HMV, etc.

4. Constable (Carpenter)

Other Criteria of APRO Recruitment

Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens, and permanent residents of Assam. Selected candidates will have to submit proof of residence /Domicile Certificate after the publication of the final select list. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC/MOBC are exempted from submitting such certificates.

Employment Exchange Registration Certificate: Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.

Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other state language fluently.

Age Limit: The candidate’s age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 25 years as on 1st January 2022 (i.e., the Candidate must be born on or before 01/01/2004 and on or after 01/01/1997).

Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC/MOBC: 3 years
• Trained Home guard: 3 years
