Education Qualification & Age Limit:
A. Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) of different subjects:
- Candidates must have completed Master Degree from a recognized University with atleast 50% marks in aggregate in relevant subjects
- B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognized University
- Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English mediums
- Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications
Age Limit: 18 to 48 Years
B. Scientific Supervisor (Ergonomics and Training):
- Second Class Masters Degree in Psychology or Physiology
- Two years experience in Administration of Psychological Tests of Mental abilities and Personality (OR)
- Two years research in Work Psychology (OR)
- Two years experience in Developing Training Module or Conducting Training Programme
- Desirable: Specialization in Industrial Psychology, Ergonomics / Counseling with knowledge of Statistics and Computers
Age Limit: 18 to 38 Years
C. Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) of different subjects:
- M.A. Degree in Drawing and Painting / Fine Arts from a recognized University (OR)
- B.A. (Hons) in Art and Art Education (OR)
- 2nd Class Bachelors degree with Drawing and Painting / Fine Arts with minimum 2 years full time Diploma from a recognized Institution (OR)
- 12th(+2Stage) with minimum 4 years full time Diploma in Painting / Fine Arts or Part-time Diploma of not less than 5 years duration.
- Competency in teaching in English medium
- Desirable: At least 2 years Teachers Training Course from a recognized Institution OR 2 years teaching experience in a recognized institution
Age limit: 18 to 48 Years
D. Chief Law Assistant:
- A University Degree in Law with 3 years standing practice as a Pleader at Bar
- Serving Railway employees who are Law Graduates are also eligible to apply for these posts
Age Limit: 18 to 43 years
E. Public Prosecutor:
Graduate with Bachelor degree in Law from recognized University and with five year
standing as an advocate at Bar
Age Limit: 18 to 35 years
F. Physical Training Instructor (English Medium):
Graduate with Bachelors in Physical Education (B. P. Ed) or its equivalent. Competency in imparting Physical Education in English medium
Age Limit: 18 to 48 years
G. Scientific Assistant/Training:
- Second Class Masters Degree in Psychology
- One year experience in Administration of Psychological tests.
- Desirable: (1) Knowledge of Computers and Statistics
- (2) Specialization in Industrial / Organizational Psychology.

H. Junior Translator (Hindi):
- Master’s Degree of in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at Degree level (OR)
- Master’s Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi or English medium and English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at Degree level (OR)
- Master’s Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subjects of either of the two as medium of examination and other as a compulsory or elective subject at Degree level
- Recognized Diploma or Certificate Course in translation from Hindi to English and vice – versa or 2-years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central or State Government offices, including Government of India Undertaking

I. Senior Publicity Inspector:
- Degree from recognized University and Diploma in Public Relations / Advertising / Journalism / Mass Communication from a recognized institution / University
- Desirable: 2 years experience in related fields.

J. Staff & welfare Inspector:
- Graduation plus any one of the following qualifications
(A) Diploma in Labour/ Social Welfare
(B) Diploma in Labour Laws
(C) LLB with papers in Labour Laws
(D) PG Diploma in Personnel Management
(E) MBA with papers in Personnel Management awarded by an Institution of the Govt. of India
(F) MBA/HR awarded by an institution recognized by the Govt. of India
(G) PG Diploma in Human Resource Management provided that its curriculum includes relevant papers in Personnel Management awarded by an institution recognized by the Govt of India.

K. Librarian:
- Bachelor of Library Science (4 years course) (OR)
- Graduation with professional qualification of Diploma in Librarianship.

L. Music Teacher (Female):
B.A. Degree with Music, as one of the subject from a recognized University.
Age limit: 18 to 48 years
M. Primary Railway Teacher of different subjects:
- 12th(+2Stage) (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) (OR)
- 12th(+2Stage) (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations 2002 (OR)
- 12th(+2Stage) (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) (OR)
- 12th(+2Stage) (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) (OR)
- Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary education (by whatever name known) (OR)
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). OR Post -Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and three year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed.

N. Assistant Teacher (Female) (Junior School):
- 12th(+2Stage)or its equivalent examination with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) (OR)
