BIS Recruitment 2022
1. Director (Legal) (Deputation)
No of posts: 1
Educational Qualification: Bachelor‘s Degree in Law/ LLB from a recognized university. Post filled through deputation.
2. Assistant Director (Hindi)
No of posts: 1 [UR:1]
- Master’s Degree/ Post Graduate Degree or equivalent of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a subject at the Degree/Master Degree level.
- Five years of experience in terminological work in Hindi and/or translation work from English to Hindi or vice-versa.
3. Assistant Director (Administration & Finance)– For Administration
No of posts: 1 [ST:1]
- Master of Business Administration OR Post Graduate Degree/Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management/ Human Resource Management.
- Three years of experience in the relevant field.
Age Limit: 35 years.
4. Assistant Director (Marketing & Consumer Affairs)
No of posts: 1 [OBC:1]
- Masters of Business Administration (Marketing) or Master’s Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication or Master’s Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work.
- Five years of experience in the field of Marketing/ Mass Communication/ Social Work.
Age Limit: 35 years.
5. Personal Assistant
No of posts: 28 [UR:13, EWS:2, SC:4, ST:2, OBC:7]
- Degree from a recognized University.
- Computer Proficiency Test: The candidate should be proficient at least up to Level-6 of the National Skill Qualification Framework. The test shall be qualifying in nature; and
- Shorthand test in English or Hindi comprising dictation test at hundred words per minute for seven minutes which the candidates shall be required to transcribe in forty-five minutes (English dictation) and in sixty minutes (Hindi dictation) and knowledge of computer.
Age Limit: 30 years.
6. Assistant Section Officer
No of posts: 47 [UR:19, EWS:5, SC:6, ST:3, OBC:14]
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Computer Proficiency Test: The candidate should be proficient at least up to Level-6 of the National Skill Qualification Framework. The test shall be qualifying in nature; and
- Qualifying Skill Test in Computer Proficiency
Age Limit: 30 years.
7. Assistant (Computer-Aided Design)
No of posts: 2 [UR:2]
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science with five years experience in Auto CAD and working knowledge of typography OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science with five years‘ experience in Auto CAD and draftsmanship in the relevant discipline OR
- Diploma in Engineering in Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical with five years of experience in Auto CAD and draftsmanship in the relevant discipline.
Age Limit: 30 years.
8. Stenographer
No of posts: 22 [UR:11, EWS:3, ST:2, OBC:6]
- Bachelor‘s Degree from a recognized University.
- Computer Proficiency Test: The candidate should be proficient at least up to level-5 of the National Skill Qualification Framework. The test shall be qualifying in nature; and
- Shorthand Test: English/Hindi Shorthand test at the speed of eighty words per minute which the candidates shall have to transcribe on the Computer in fifty or sixty-five minutes, respectively.
9. Senior Secretariat Assistant
No of posts: 100 [UR:42, EWS:10, SC:15, ST:6, OBC:27]
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University; and
- Qualifying Skill Test in Computer Proficiency consisting of Word Processing Test – 2000 Key Depressions in fifteen minutes;
- Test in Spread Sheets on Microsoft Excel – fifteen minutes; and
- Test in PowerPoint (Microsoft PowerPoint) – fifteen Minutes

10. Horticultural Supervisor

11. Technical Assistant (Laboratory)

- Mechanical: Posts 19 [UR:9, EWS:1, SC:4, ST:2, OBC:3]

- Microbiology: Posts 10 [UR:4, EWS:1, SC:2, ST:1, OBC:2]
- Mechanical: 3 years diploma in Mechanical with 60% marks
- Chemical: Bachelor’s Degree in Science (with Chemistry as one of the main subjects) with a minimum of sixty percent marks
- Microbiology: Bachelor’s Degree in Science (with Microbiology as one of the main subjects) with a minimum of sixty percent marks.

12. Senior Technician
- Carpenter: 6 Posts

- Plumber: 3 Posts
- Fitter: 3 Posts
- Turner: 5 Posts
- Electrician: 6 Posts
- Industrial Training Institute Certificate in any of the following trades:
- (a) Electrician; (b) Fitter; (c) Carpenter; (d) Plumber; (e) Turner; (f) Welder (the Welder should be also have passed the Welders Qualifying Test as per the relevant Indian Standard or its equivalent); and
- Two years of practical experience in the respective trade after having obtained the Industrial Training Institute Certificate or National Apprenticeship Certificate in the relevant trade.

- PwD (UR/EWS): 10 years
- PwD (OBC): 13 years
