1. Junior Scientific Officers

No of Posts: 06

Pay Scale: Rs.30,000.00 – Rs. 1,10,000.00 (GP: Rs.12,700.00)

Required Qualification:

Science & Technology (for ASTEC): M.Sc. in Essential Qualification Physics Chemistry/Mathematics or, B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engg/Electroi1ics/Instrumentation Engg/Cornputer Seienee/B.. Sc (Agri)/MCA

Or, any Equivalent Degree in the relevant fields fronl a recognized university/ lnstitution.

Environment (for ASTEC): M.Se. in Environmental Science/Zoology/Botany/Geography Or, BE/B.Tech in Environmental Engg./Civil Engg/Chemical Engg. Or. any Equivalent Degree in the relevant fields from a recognized University/institution.

GIS & Remote Sensing (for ASSAC): M.Sc/M. Tech in Geoinformatics/Geomatics/ Remote Sensing and GIS or any Equivalent from a recognized University/institution. Or BE/B.Tech Geo infümatics /Geomatics/Physical Sciences Or. any Equivalent Degree from in the relevant fields from a recognized University/institution.

Scale of Pay: Rs.30.000/- to 1,10,000/- (PB4) with Grade Pay of Rs.12.700/- PM plus other allowances as per rules of Government.

Age Limit: “The candidates should not be less than 21 years and not more than 38 years as on 01-01-2021,

The upper age limit is relaxed by-

5 years for SC/ST candidates i.e. up to 43 years
3 years for candidates i.e. up to 41 years

Other Eligibility Criteria of ASTE Council Recruitment 2021
