Salary: Rs. 14000 – 60500 + GP 6800 (PB-2)
Educational Qualification: H.S.L.C or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.
Other Qualification: Minimum NCC ‘B’ Certificate. The persons having H.S.L.C. passed certificate but not possessing the minimum NCC ‘B’ Certificate are not eligible to apply.
2. Constable (Grade III)
No of posts: 211

Salary: 14000 – 60500 + GP 5600 (PB-2)

3. Platoon Commander

Salary: Rs. 14,000-60,500 (Pay Band No.2) and Grade pay Rs. 8700/-
Educational Qualification: The candidate must be a graduate in Arts, Science, or Commerce from a recognized College / Institution affiliated with a recognized University.
Other Qualification: NCC ‘B’ Certificate OR Home Guards Training Certificate.
Other Criteria of Civil Defence & Home Guards Recruitment
Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian citizens and permanent residents of Assam.
Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.
Age Limit: Candidate age must be between 18 to 40 years as on 01-07-2022 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01.07.2004 and on or after 01.07.1982).
